Cebu Pacific (CEB) has announced its continued partnership with one of the country’s leading insurance providers, AXA Philippines with the launch of Piso Protect — an affordable personal accident microinsurance.
Piso Protect Personal Accident microinsurance ensures its planholder financial security in case of accidents that may result in injuries, disabilities, or death. With this product, the insured can get accidental death or permanent disablement coverage of up to PHP250,000, daily hospitalization coverage of PHP1,000 per day for a maximum of PHP5,000, and a surgical cash benefit of PHP5,000. Flight purchase is not required to avail of Piso Protect.
For as low as PHP1 per day or PHP365 per year, this easy-on-the-pocket accident insurance can help cover the cost of hospitalization due to accidents.
The new offering comes at a critical time when the world is gradually transitioning to normalcy. More people need accident insurance coverage, as accidents happen to nearly everyone anytime, anywhere. Hospitalization can be costly, that is why it is better to be prepared for these unforeseen instances.

Piso Protect is just one of several products under this suite of lifestyle insurance packages offered by the CEB and AXA Philippines partnership. Back in September 2020, CEB and AXA Philippines were the first to offer non-travel insurance products in the Philippine aviation industry, with CEB Health Protect, insurance that provides coverage for the top three critical conditions namely cancer, stroke, and heart attack.
